Ladakh trip is a very excited and memorable journey for everyone’s life. It will definitely not going like a short trip that you make.  This journey will be so challenging and adventurous.  So if you are planning for a Ladakh trip and worried about  “what to carry for a Ladakh trip ?” then yes!  This article is for you.  In this article, I shared with you everything from major to minor that you should carry. You can skip “*” marked items on the list. Before the Ladakh journey prepare your mind and don’t compromise on your packing; a single nail is also very useful in the challenging Ladakh region. Here I noted accessories for bikes;  you can skip if you are traveling in a car or group.

Before the Ladakh trip, you have to be a basic bike mechanic. Honestly,  you should spend some days in a bike repair shop to get experience with your bike. This experience will help you to fix your bike in Ladakh’s challenge situation.

Some parts of the Ladakh region are warm and some places in Ladakh are cold.  So you need precautions to avoid this unstable weather. The most preferable dressing for a Ladakh trip is layering.  You may wear two or three thermals and then t-shirts as per the weather. However,  carry a raincoat or thrill to safe in the rain

After reaching Leh,  you should take a rest minimum of two days to adapt your body to a high altitude. To overcome breathing problems you can use Camphor.  Camphor is very helpful to prevent altitude problems. Or you can use lemon with salt to prevent vomiting.  Try all those basic tips to make your journey smoother.

Most important thing is to capture your memories in Ladakh. But due to low-temperature batteries will die first so try to carry extra batteries. Another challenge in Ladakh is to protect your sensitive electrical gauge from dust.  For that, you can carry a cleaning kit.

The most important thing,  to carry all your stuff in a bag. But,  for more items or instructions you have to carry 2 or three bags. Always try to lock your bags when you stay for lunch or break. Your safety is your priority.

Leh Ladakh is a very remote area, so the mobile signal is very unstable in this region. Only Airtel , BSNL and Jio postpaid sim work in this place. You can buy a sim after landing Leh.  However,  you need to carry your Aadhar card to buy a sim. 

For remote regions,  important services like atm Petron pamp hospital services are too sparse.so, try to carry extra money and fuel.
